WATER RESTRICTIONS

 

The reduced water usage, over the last several weeks, has helped us stop the degradation of our filtering membranes, but the problem still exists.  The amount of water we are producing, today, requires our operator to clean the membranes everyday instead of the normal every two weeks.  There are algae in Fort Peck and algae in Lake Sakakawea, which means it’s not going away anytime soon.  We are still working with engineers to develop a solution, but until that time, we ask that you continue to be mindful of your water usage. Reminder, please do NOT use sprinklers, wash vehicles…etc.
